The 2003-2004 season promises to be the most exciting yet, with guest artists, new repertoire, and great masterpieces performed.  If you missed the Turina and Ravel trios, you will get to hear them at the Teaneck Library on November 16th, as well as an exhibit of Marilyn Gibson's mixed media hangings and Daryl Goldberg's stunning photography.

The 2003-4 season's program begins with Beethoven's "Twelve Variations on the Theme Ein Madchen oder Veibchen from Mozart's opers Die Zauberflote", Opus 66, for cello and piano. Then The Trio plays the great Six Little Pieces by Joshua Rosenblum, written for The Herrick Trio, and recorded by The Herrick Trio on January 29, 2004. Look for the new CD by the spring. Following is the Turina Trio, Opus 76, and concluding with the great Schubert Bb Trio, Opus 99.
In Artistic Confluences, Marilyn Gibson's exciting wall hangings and Daryl Goldberg's superb photographs, a beautiful combination of music and art, previously displayed at the New City (NY) and the Teaneck Library in the fall of 2003, the musicians of The Herrick Trio bring their visual talents to enhance the aural. An exhibit is planned for the Englewood Public Library in 2004.
Violinist Marilyn Gibson's wall hangings--weavings and quilts, have been seen at the aRoMoNa Galler in New York City.
Photographer and cellist Daryl Goldberg states that "As a musician I practice in order to shape a beautiful phrase which is momentary. As a photographer I attempt to obtain a beautiful moment so that I can return often to that sense of mood and place."
